Minnesota Department of Revenue and Wisconsin Department of Revenue will be speaking on Income Tax Withholding on Wages, Covid-19 pandemic information, and other important tax topics from their states. Brian Larsen is a Tax Specialist from the Office of Technical Services at the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. He graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, with a bachelor's degree in accounting and started working for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue in 2010. During his first 9 years at the department, he audited the income/franchise tax returns of individuals, estates, trusts, partnerships, and tax-option (S) corporations. Since 2019, Brian has been working as a tax specialist in the Office of Technical Services, and one of his responsibilities is responding to questions about withholding tax. Mark Krause is the Tax Professional Outreach Coordinator in the Income Tax & Withholding Division at the Minnesota Department of Revenue. He is responsible for administering the paid preparer outreach program and providing income tax and withholding tax education. Mark started his career with the Department in 2016 as a field auditor in the Special Taxes division. Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate degree in Accounting. He has over 25 years of experience in individual income taxes.
